The competency survey is being implemented as part of the Entrepreneurial Preparation for Notable and Engaging Universities project under the EIT KIC initiative.

Fill out the competency test of a technology transfer office employee, thanks to it:

• you will learn the most important competencies of a technology transfer office employee,
• you will determine your level of these competencies,
• you will learn the opinion of your colleague about your competencies,
• you will receive developmental guidance and advice on how to develop a particular competency.

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Select FOR A NEW USER.
2. Select the university where you currently work.
3. Assess your competencies in 9 steps.
4. Each step contains 1 competency that you should have in your position. Each competency will have 4 to 7 indicators with a 5-step rating scale - always choose one answer to each indicator that best describes you.
5. Find out the assessment of your competency compared to the required level, as defined in the HEI project by experts.
6. When you finish the assessment, you will receive two codes:
• Code 1 (your own) - you will be able to check your competency assessment in the future using CHECK YOUR ASSESSMENT
• Code 2 (for your colleague) - you will be able to pass the code to him and ask him to evaluate your competence using the ASSESS YOUR COLLEAGUE
7. Pass code 2 to your colleague with whom you often collaborate.
8. Ask this colleague to go to this page and enter the code into the field "Enter a code given by your colleague" and press ASSESS YOUR COLLEAGUE
9. Your colleague will assess your competency in 9 steps.
10. Each step contains 1 competency that you should have in your position. Each competency will have 4 to 7 indicators with a 5-step rating scale - your colleague must always choose one answer to each indicator that best describes you.
11. Find out the assessment of your competency by your colleague with whom you work by entering code 1 (your code) into the "Enter your own code" box and press CHECK YOUR ASSESSMENT

It will take you about 15 minutes to assess your competency.
